What In The World?!

God has been so good to me. No really, He has. I'm not just saying that. This August will be nine years since He delivered me and filled me with the Holy Ghost! And over these nine, wonderful years of living for Him, He has truly given me the desires of my heart. Not just in spiritual matters or even in big major things. Although He has done that also. But I am always amazed when God gives me the little things in life too. The things I don't even think to pray for because really they are not significant to my existence. But just little things. For instance. I have never had a new couch. I was close one time. But not quite. Anyway. I had been talking to my husband about how I would like to have a new couch. I even went to some furniture stores and picked out a few I liked and was reasonable. I was going to save my money and buy it. Eventually. Well, one day I'm helping my parents paint their living room and we were talking about furniture and I tell them about the couches I had been looking at. Well, a week or so later, they decide to go buy themselves a new couch and they told me to come along a pick one also. They bought me a new couch!! Now you really have to know them to understand what a miracle that is. They don't have a lot of money themselves and they try to save as much as possible. Then I thought how lovely it would be to have a love seat. Well, my old boss just happened to have one he needed to get rid of. Please keep in mind I have never asked for or told anyone I wanted these things. Other than passing conversations with my husband. Well, anyway, we have had numerous things just given to us! A hot tub (woohoo), furniture, brand new clothes, a boat, a goldfish pond, a ton of bricks (really), a motor home, and too many things to list. It's like one day we are talking about how eventually we would like to have some horses and the next day, poof! Someone gives us a horse. Now you may say, Holly, your rambling and it's cool someone bought you a new couch, but come on, nobody is going to give you a horse! Yet, I told you all that just to say, "Hey, somebody gave me a horse today!!" I'm not kidding. They said, "If you buy this halter and lead rope for $50.00, I'll throw the horse in free." WHAT IN THE WORLD!! People don't give horses away! But I am now an official owner, or I will be when I get her, of a 2 year old quarter horse mare. How crazy is that? I hope she doesn't eat like a horse!! HAHAHA I tried taking some pics of her, but she wouldn't stay still for very long. I hope you can see them.

WOW! That is so awesome! Congratulations on your new furniture.... and your new horse. Okay... now we'll have to go riding. =)

God is sooo good. You can never outgive Him. I am so thankful that I know Him and am a recipient of his tender mercies, blessings, and faithfulness every day.

I can't wait to go riding. Unfortunately she's not broke yet. I think Ken is going to have fun doing that! But she's still young, so she should do fine. And yes God is Soooo good!! I love Him more and more everyday. I love it when He does something like this to let me know that He does hear me, even when I'm not in prayer.

How blessed you are!! This is Kim Pintaro from New Life, B'ham. I came across your blog & just had to comment on how awesome it is to hear of God's blessings flowing in you life!

We have a horse...& I too have a blessing from the Lord. We live down the street from the Girl Scout camp & the lady at the camp is boarding him FREE! We do not have a farm to keep him...we live on a lake..but if he wanted to roam..he would have to really like swimming :) Actually she feeds him, shoes him, gives him Dr. visits...whatever he needs...all we have to do is ride him, groom him & love him..& that we do. Makenzie is there everyday! Praise God for his blessings!!

Kristy, I know what you mean! I'm like, "God I could really use a new house, a lot closer to church right about now!!

Sis. Pintaro, thanks for visiting my blog!! Isn't God so good?! He not only gives us the things we desire but He also provides a way to care for those things! He thinks of everything! And I'm glad He does. I have joked that I may be riding her to church as high as gas is getting!! Maybe I'll get me a wagon!!

Sis. Kimi, she is pretty. Once we get her broke we will be able to give her a little TLC and fatten' her up! But we don't want her to big before the breaking process. She's already going to be hard to handle! I can't wait to be up there riding her either! I haven't rode since me and Ken were dating. (Which has been ages ago!!) Well, we still date, I mean before we were married dating!! Love you guys!!
